Vibrant Thailand! – Part 1

We, my husband and I,went to Thailand after our wedding on honeymoon. Thailand is a country completely dependent on tourism for it’s source of income. Almost every person is in some or the other way connected to tourism. And that’s why maybe the place appears to be very cheerful, happy and vibrant!

Any one you meet in Thailand will be polite to you. They will greet you with a smile. And never every will you find someone who is not willing to help you. Perhaps because of there dependency on tourism, they take their business quite seriously.

We went to two places in Thailand, Phuket and Bangkok. The moment we entered Phuket, the airport itself is so well decorated and made in such a way that a visitor should forget all his problems and worries outside right from the airport. Just enjoy the vacation. Even the airport is along the beach.

I unfortunately don’t have any photo of the inside view. But will suggest, you yourself go and check it out!

Our hotel was near to Patong beach and it was quite walkable distance. We went to beach every evening to feel relaxed. Obviously, We also clicked lots of photos for fun!

We were lucky to be there on 31st December. We were at Bangla street that night. And all people, tourists and locals alike, were there till midnight and even after that, to celebrate new years eve. The street was jam packed. There was no space to move a bit. It was a night to remember. There was a big screen with count down. All the shops around were lighten up.

Even after midnight, people stayed at the beach. We came back to room as we had visit to Islands planned next day. Some people also blew lanterns in air, filled with their wishes.
